About TCG Deckhand
A price comparison tool for the One Piece Card Game, built because buying cards well is unreasonably hard.
Card prices are scattered across marketplaces, big retailers and hundreds of independent shops. The cheapest listing for one card is rarely the cheapest way to buy twelve, because shipping is charged per store, not per card. Working that out by hand means a dozen browser tabs and arithmetic. TCG Deckhand does it in one step.
Who's behind it
An independent project by Drew Hall, built and run as a side business. Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Bandai, the One Piece Card Game, or any of the stores it compares.
How it makes money
Affiliate commissions. When you buy through a link here, the store may pay a small referral fee at no extra cost to you. One rule holds regardless: paid relationships never affect the ranking. The cheapest option is the cheapest option — if a commission could reorder that list, the whole tool would be worthless.
Where the data comes from
- TCGplayer — market prices via the TCG API.
- CardTrader — lowest English near-mint listings via their API.
- Independent stores — public product feeds, refreshed periodically and converted to US dollars at published exchange rates.
- Estimates — stores without a feed are modelled from market prices and clearly marked, never presented as quotes.
